8/31/2023 0 Comments Pcsx2 controller setup flashingScarface - This game used to be super unplayable as well, and it's incredible that it's working in a near perfect playable order. Psi-ops - Looking really good, and appears to be running near perfect Used to be complete garbage on this emu, and it's running from what I can perceive as near perfectly. Mercenaries 2 - I cannot believe they got this game running. Now it's running very well, with some small visual problems like color inaccuracies and artifacts. Matrix Path of Neo - This was a broken mess previously that was unplayable. They have completely mitigated this problem, and it seems to be running at near full speed with minor issues. Killzone - This game was a complete slideshow previously, and had massive graphical artifacts (unplayable). Absolutely stunning in 1440p / 60 with a crisp, clean image and very minor issues. Also had some slight performance annoyances, and that also seems to be largely solved. Previously GoW2 had a persistent and super annoying "Ghosting" effect that I could never fix in this emulator, and that has been completely resolved. Kind of unreal.ĭarkwatch - Speed performance issues before, plays near perfectly now It now runs 100% speed and plays like a dream. It's now all deliciously packed in, ready to go for the most part as I didn't have to change any settings or tinker with anything for these results.Īrea 51 - This had all kinds of problems before, it runs VERY well now, and is quite stable if not near perfect with minor issues.īurnout Revenge - This would run with constant hiccups and graphical artifacts and was pretty unplayable before. it's worth mentioning to the community as you would have to go scour the net to find fixes for every game that had issues independently. The point is that PCSX2 now has a new UI, and all of these graphical / performance problems are now automatically addressed right out of the box. ++Wanted to note here that a user on this thread is laughably pointing out that all of these issues I am mentioning in this thread were fixed a long time ago, but that's not the point. Here is a list of games that I threw at it last night that I have always known to be problematic with the emulator, with a nice little informative keynote on the game / emulation performance. This was not the case before these releases on the 1.6 stable release. the user interface is incredibly welcome compared to what we used to have (basically nothing previously and looks identical to DUCKSTATION), and I'm serious when I say it ran nearly every single game I threw at it with flying colors or near perfect performance.
